Campus Parking Disruptions April 13; towing to be enforced

This Saturday, April 13 will mark the 14th annual Longhorn Run, a campus tradition that has united students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the Austin community since 2010. With the largest participation to date, the run will affect parking and traffic as runners complete the 5 and 10k routes across the Forty Acres. To prepare for the event, please be aware of the restrictions listed below.

Parking Restrictions and Towing

All vehicles, including motorcycles and university vehicles, must be removed from the locations listed below no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 12. Any vehicles that have not relocated by this time will be subject to relocation at the vehicle operator’s expense.

  • 21st St. between University Ave. and San Jacinto Blvd.
  • San Jacinto Blvd. between Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. and Dean Keeton St.

These areas will remain restricted until 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13.

Street Closure

On Saturday, April 13 from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., 21st St., between University Ave. and San Jacinto Blvd., will be closed.
