The university will be hosting the CMT Music Awards that will affect traffic beginning Monday, April 1 through Sunday, April 7. There will be performances and tapings at the UT Tower stage, and production trucks will move into the area north of the Main Building (MAI) during this time. The CMT Music Awards will be held at Moody Center (MCA) the evening of Sunday, April 7.

- Wednesday, April 3 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.: Inner Campus Dr.
- Friday, April 5 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.: Inner Campus Dr.
- Saturday, April 6 at 6 a.m. to Sunday, April 7 at 1 p.m.: Robert Dedman Dr. between Clyde Littlefield Dr. and 20th St.
- Sunday, April 7 from 1 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.: Robert Dedman Dr. between DeLoss Dodds Wy. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
