The money raised from the auction is put toward developing the bike infrastructure around campus. and as Hernandez puts it "You're going to get a great deal on a bike here, wheteher it's a high-end bike.... or medium- to low-range,"

Committee Finalizes Cost Increases for Permits

In Line with a report issued by the UT Parking Strategies Committee, UT Parking and Transportation Services will begin charging more for parking permits, under the plan permits will increase in cost per year and adjusted separately. The increase is an effort to better cover the cost of Parking and Trasnportation Services.

Students Develop Biodiesel Fuel for University Use

A group of UT Students from Engineers for a Sustainable World were awarded $15,000 by the Green Fee Committee to purchase a biodiesel reactor. The group plans to use oil from University buildings to create their own biodiesel fuel to be used in University Vehicles.

UT Transportation Services to Prevent Drunk Driving

URide 24-5 Launched October 14th, a pilot transportation service for university students, faculty and staff aimed at transporting students from the Perry-Castaneda Library to residential neighborhoods at no cost from midnight to 3 a.m. The service is a combined effort between Parking and Transportation Services , Student Government and private car service URide inc.
