April is Earth Month and Parking and Transportation is hosting a UT B-Cycle Miles Challenge! Rent, ride, and return a bike with a no-cost UT membership! All currently enrolled students are eligible for a no-cost membership.
Over the last 45 days the University of Texas B-Cycle stations have generated over 121,400 miles towards active transportation and reducing carbon emissions on the 40 acres. The UT B-Cycle Miles Challenge goal is to hit 200,000 miles within the next 3 weeks. All you need to do is check out a bike and ride! The Earth Month UT B-Cycle Miles Challenge will take place from April 9th-30.
Currently enrolled UT Austin students, faculty, & staff can participate in the challenge once signed up for the B-cycle membership by:
- Downloading the iOS or Android app or visiting UTBikeShare.com
- Students select the "UT Student Membership" option
- Faculty & Staff may redeem a UT Austin discount by using promotional code UTSTAFF and registering with their university-issued e-mail address.
