Parking and Transportation News for Week of Nov. 1-7

Please note the university and PTS are hosting events during the week of Nov. 1-7. The PTS annual bicycle auction starts today, Nov. 2, 2020, and there will be a UT home football game Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020. Please read this email for details on these events, including how football parking and campus entry restrictions may affect you.

Annual Bicycle Auction Nov. 2-13

For an affordable option to purchase used bicycles, the PTS annual bicycle auction will be held online for the first time Nov. 2-13, 2020. All bids will begin at $5. More information is available on the Bike Auction page.

Before and After Game Day Parking

All vehicles must be removed from any of the listed locations by the times below, or they will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

Vehicle Relocations

Lots

Lot 113 will convert to an RV lot on Thursday. All vehicles must be removed from this lot before 3 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020.

All vehicles must be removed from lots 19, 20, 26, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 53, 102, 108, 116 and 118 no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020.

Streets

All vehicles must be removed from the following streets no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020:

  • 24th St. between San Jacinto Blvd. and Speedway
  • San Jacinto Blvd. between Dean Keeton and MLK
  • Trinity St. between DeLoss Dodds Way and Robert Dedman Dr.
  • 21st St. between San Jacinto Blvd. and Speedway

Garages

All garage permit holders (F, R, S) in the following garages must remove their vehicle no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020:

  • San Jacinto Garage (SJG)
  • Brazos Garage (BRG)
  • Manor Garage (MAG)
  • Trinity Garage (TRG)

Information on where you may move your vehicle will be sent in a separate email on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.

Parking Storage Areas for Relocated Permit Holders

Vehicles may be relocated to any of the following lots: Lot 106, 109, 110, 111, 112, 114, 115, 117, 119 or 121. Overnight parking restrictions for these lots will be lifted starting on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020 and ending at 3 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020.

Those not wanting to relocate their vehicle on football game days may purchase a permit for the East Campus Garage (ECG).

Do not park in any spaces marked AT ALL TIMES or your vehicle will be subject to citations.

Game Day Parking and Campus Access

Campus Entry Restrictions

Campus entry is restricted on game day (Nov. 7, 2020) beginning at 6 a.m. Limited entry for permit holders will be available for those who work on campus or who have otherwise coordinated with PTS prior to the game. However, depending on circumstances, permit holders may be directed to an alternative location on campus for no charge parking.

Parking on Game Day for UT Permit Holders

Valid UT permit holders who will be on campus on game day can park in the East Campus Garage (ECG) or Lots 106, 109, 110, 111, 112, 114, 115, 117, 119 or 121 on a space-available basis at no charge with a UT permit.

Permitted vehicles parked in ECG on game day that do not have a permit for this location must be removed no later than 10 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2020. Failure to remove your vehicle by this time may result in ticketing, towing, and/or additional fees.

Parking for Those Without a UT Permit

If you will need parking on game day but do not have a UT permit, you must go online and purchase it in advance at https://utparking.clickandpark.com/venue. A map of the public parking locations and prices can be found on the 2020 Football Parking page.
