Parking and Transportation Services is pleased to announce the return of the faculty/staff summer parking program. If you are a current F or A permit holder and you wish to move to a more convenient parking location for the summer, you may participate in the program on a space-available basis.
Summer permits will be valid from May 22, 2019 through August 20, 2019. Permit holders will be able to use either their current permit or the temporary summer permit for parking but you cannot return your current permit if you wish to remain eligible for the program. The temporary summer permits may not be renewed for the 2019-20 academic year.
To be eligible for the Summer F Permit Program, you must be eligible to purchase an F Permit.
Construction will limit the surface lots available for summer parking this year. Only the lots/garages listed here will have a limited number of available summer F permits:
- Brazos Garage (BRG)
- Manor Garage (MAG)
- San Antonio Garage (SAG)
- San Jacinto Garage (SJG)
- Speedway Garage (SWG)
- 27th Street Garage (TSG)
How to Purchase
Permits will be sold beginning May 22nd at 8 a.m., on a first-come, first-served basis. The following rates apply for those purchasing a temporary summer F permit:
- Price for current F permit holders: $45
- Price for current A permit holders: $150
Summer F Permits are not available for purchase online. Go to the following garage locations to purchase a particular summer F permit:
- For BRG permits, purchase at Brazos Garage (BRG)
- For F20 or SJG permits, purchase at Manor Garage (MAG)
- For F15 or SAG permits, purchase at San Antonio Garage (SAG)
- For F18, SWG, or TSG permits, purchase at Speedway Garage (SWG)
Pull a ticket to enter the garage and bring the entry ticket, a photo ID, and a form of payment with you to the office where you will receive time-limited validated parking.
