F36 Parking Space Relocation Beginning 6/26/20

June 23, 2020

Beginning Friday, June 26, 2020, all of the parking on the east side of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work Building (SSW) will be closed due to multiple construction projects within the area. With this closure eliminating all F36 parking, Parking and Transportation Services will be moving these spaces to the west side of SSW along San Jacinto Blvd just south of the 20th St intersection. Some portions of F36 will return to the east side of SSW at the completion of these projects in the fall of 2022.

Parking and Traffic Disruptions for the 3M Half Marathon

UT Austin Community, 

The 3M Half Marathon will affect parking and traffic this weekend (Jan. 18 – 19, 2020) on and around campus. Please carefully read the details below. 

Parking Restrictions

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) will begin restricting parking in the areas listed below beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18. Restrictions will be in place until 2 p.m. on Sunday January 19.

There will be a UT home football game this Saturday, November 9. Please read this email carefully as it outlines parking and campus entry restrictions that may affect you.

 

BEFORE AND AFTER GAME DAY PARKING

Vehicle Relocations (Lots, Streets, and Garages)

Lot 113 will convert to a RV lot on Thursday, November 7. All vehicles must be removed from this lot before 3 a.m. on Thursday, or they will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

 

Capitol Complex Project Traffic Alert

UT Austin Community,

The following information is being provided on behalf of the Capitol Complex Construction Project.

Please expect increased congestion along San Jacinto Blvd between MLK and 18th street starting Monday, September 23rd to Sunday, December 1, 2019 for utility construction related to the Capitol Complex Construction Project.

Various intersection and street direction changes will occur during this timeframe.

Additionally, several Capital Metro routes that travel along this corridor will also be rerouted due to the construction project.

A valid UT permit or payment of fees is required to park on campus even for the upcoming summer break. Parking restrictions will remain in effect for those spaces that require a particular UT permit AT ALL TIMES.
