Belmont Bike Rack Removal - Fri 8/30/19 at 2 p.m.

Please relocate your bike! The bike rack located on the west side of DARRELL K ROYAL TX MEMORIAL STADIUM (STD), just outside L. THEO BELLMONT HALL (BEL), will be removed today (8/30/19) at 2 p.m.

After-Hours Transportation Safety Programs Resume

After-hours safety programs Sure Walk and UT Night Rides have resumed fall service. Sure Walk provides walking companions to UT community members upon request between the hours of 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. UT Night Rides provides a Lyft away from campus between the hours of 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. for UT community members.

Home Football Game Parking Disruptions for August 31, 2019

There will be a UT home football game this Saturday, August 31. Please read this carefully as it outlines parking and campus entry restrictions that may affect you.

Before and After Game Day Parking

Vehicle Relocations (Lots, Streets, and Garages)

Lot 113 will convert to a RV lot on Thursday, August 29. All vehicles must be removed from this lot before 3 a.m. on Thursday, or they will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

2019-2020 Academic Year Permits

Aug. 16, 2019
Permits for the 2019-2020 academic year began shipping Tuesday, August 13, from our permit vendor in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. 
These permits are not valid until August 21. Continue using your current permit through August 20.
* Registered toll tag(s) will automatically be added to your new permit. 

Parking And Traffic Disruptions for 7/22 to 7/28

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) urges caution in navigating the area of the Darrell K Royal Texas Memorial Stadium South End Zone Expansion and Stadium Renovation Project. Beginning on Monday, July 22, 2019 and ending Sunday, July 28, 2019, two tower cranes will be erected as part of the project. 
July 22 – 25, 2019:

Gates on Speedway Pedestrian Mall

July 1, 2019

Gates will replace the hydraulic bollards on Speedway at 21st and 24th streets on Friday, July 5. The gate arms will be kept in the down position.

Emergency vehicles will have access much like they did with the bollards. Emergency responders have transponders on their vehicles that automatically raise the gates when they approach the entrance.

Please note the university is hosting the Longhorn Network's Texas Gameday Shoot on 06/20/19 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This event will potentially disrupt parking and traffic on campus, including:

Parking/Street Closures
* Robert Dedman Dr. from 20th Street to Clyde Littlefield Dr.
* Manor Garage – west entrance (Level 1 entrance/exit) off Robert Dedman Dr.

Guadalupe Garage Temp Closure

Update 6/19/19 9:18 a.m.

At this time, entry into the Guadalupe Garage has been restored. You must enter 17th Street by driving north on San Antonio. 

Any Guadalupe Garage permit-holders that parked at the Rowling Hall Garage, San Antonio Garage, or the Trinity Garage can continue to park at the alternate location through 11:59 pm tonight at which time you will need to resume parking  at the Guadalupe Garage. 

If anything changes, PTS will provide an update. 


Parking and Traffic Disruptions: June 1-3

Please note beginning on Saturday, June 1 through Monday, June 3, The University is hosting UIL State Solo and Ensemble which will bring hundreds of buses to campus, potentially disrupting parking and traffic, including:

Parking/street closures

  • Robert Dedman Drive between Dean Keeton and DeLoss Dodds Way will be one way southbound

  • All of the parking along Robert Dedman Drive north of DeLoss Dodds Way will be closed to permit holders
