Fleet Operations

University Fleet Operations is the centralized engine that keeps the University’s fleet moving—delivering reliable mechanical repair and fueling services for all University-owned vehicles, trailers, carts, and equipment (hereafter referred to as “assets”).

From day one, Fleet takes full ownership of preparing Assets for the road. Every asset is carefully received, inspected, and processed through a comprehensive onboarding workflow that includes registration, titling, plating, inventory tagging, and decal application. Each unit undergoes a thorough safety inspection and is entered into the fleet management system with a tailored maintenance schedule designed to maximize performance and longevity.

Our team ensures that UT assets are not just operational—but fully mission-ready for departmental use. Through proactive preventative maintenance notifications, Fleet helps departments stay ahead of service needs, reduce downtime, and extend the life of their assets.

At its core, Fleet Operations is committed to delivering safe, dependable, and efficient fleet operations—supporting the University’s mission every mile of the way.

University Fleet Operations (UFO) keeps your department moving with comprehensive, end-to-end fleet support:
