What is it?
PTS Pickup is a pilot program that provides courtesy cart transportation to faculty, staff, students, and visitors across campus. The pilot offers curb-to-curb pick-up and drop-off transportation across main campus.
How do I request a ride?
Simply wave down a PTS Pickup driver and let them know your destination.
When does the pilot program run?
The pilot program launched on August 12, 2024 and will run through the Fall 2024 semester.
What are the hours of operation?
Cart transportation is available Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. There is no service during University closures and holidays.
What does it cost?
All rides are free for faculty, staff, students and visitors to campus.
Are the carts ADA accessible?
The PTS Pickup fleet includes ADA-friendly carts and vans, identifiable by the universal ADA symbol on the sides of vehicles.
What are the routes?
PTS Pickup serves central campus along all University streets located within the boundaries of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Guadalupe Street, 27th Street, and Red River Street.

East Campus Service Area
PTS Pickup serves east campus along all University streets located within the boundaries of Comal Street to Disch-Falk Field Drive, the I-35 Frontage Road to the Development Office Building (DEV) and the Facilities Complex (FC), and Leona Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
