How was this survey developed?
The University has partnered with Nelson Nygaard, a consulting firm centered in mobility, accessibility, and sustainability. Nelson Nygaard has worked with University leadership to develop a custom survey for UT Austin.
What is the difference between transportation and mobility?
For the purposes of this study, transportation encompasses all of the methods we use to move through campus, while mobility refers to the ease with which we move through campus.
In which languages is the survey available?
The survey will be provided in English and Spanish.
Can I complete the online survey more than once?
No, the survey can only be completed once.
Does the survey “time out” if I leave it open?
The survey does not time out, but for confidentiality purposes, users should save responses by clicking “Next” and then closing their browsers.
I am unable to access the survey, what can I do?
While the survey platform is compatible with any browser, the recommended browser is Google Chrome. If encountering difficulties in Google Chrome, contact your local administrator to see if there are firewall restrictions.
How do I know whether my survey was submitted successfully?
UT Austin is not able to confirm submission of individual surveys. However, participants can click on the link from their invitation email to verify submission. If after clicking on the survey, a user receives an “already completed” message, they can be assured their survey has been successfully submitted.
If a survey had not been submitted, the user will be taken to the point in the survey where they left off and will be able to complete it.
I submitted my survey responses, why am I still getting e-mail reminders?
The University will send a series of general reminders to capture survey responses.
How can I find my survey invitation?
Survey invitations were sent via email. Check junk/spam folders to ensure it was not accidentally marked as spam. For those that use Focused Inbox, check the Other Inbox to ensure it was not sent there.
