The "VIP" permit is issued to non-university affiliated special guests of the university, upon request by a dean, director, or executive officer of the university. The "VIP" permit is valid in any space on campus with the exception of metered spaces, "F99" spaces, "O" spaces, or ADA spaces (unless a state disabled placard or license plate is displayed).
How To Request
To request VIP permits for your department, fill out the VIP Permit Request Form 26/27: $424.00 for the academic year. The form must be signed by someone with signature authority for the IDT account noted. Once completed, email a scanned copy of the form to pts-adminrequests@austin.utexas.edu.
