The Forty Acres will be bustling with activity from May 12 through May 17 as we host a series of major university, athletic, and public events. This exciting week will bring increased traffic, parking impacts, and street closures across campus. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to support these events safely and smoothly.
Traffic Disruptions
The following areas will experience increased traffic and congestion:

Street Closures
The following streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., May 14–16:
- Red River St. (Dean Keeton St. to Clyde Littlefield Dr.)
- Robert Dedman Dr. (Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. to DeLoss Dodds Wy.)
- Clyde Littlefield Dr. (Robert Dedman Dr. to Red River St.)
- DeLoss Dodds Wy. (San Jacinto Blvd. to Robert Dedman Dr.) – eastbound lane closed; westbound open
Please note: These restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of safety and traffic control.
Manor Garage Access
Access to Manor Garage will be adjusted due to street closures, May 14-16. Drivers should head south on Red River St., then:
- Turn right into Lot 37 via the east entrance
- Continue through Lot 37 to the south entrance
- Turn right onto Clyde Littlefield Dr.
- Make an immediate left into Manor Garage
Please follow posted signage and on-site traffic personnel for guidance.
