Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) has been working through details for fall parking, as we understand that many of you are making plans for August and beyond.

Optional Summer Garage Parking with an “A” Permit

July 2, 2020

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) is allowing “A” permit holders to purchase a garage parking option for the remainder of this summer semester. To add garage parking for the summer, staff members will pay the difference between an “A” permit and a garage permit.

PTS will issue a QR code to staff members who purchase garage access with their “A” permits to allow them to enter and exit a garage. The code will be in effect through August 18.

F36 Parking Space Relocation Beginning 6/26/20

Beginning Friday, June 26, 2020, all of the parking on the east side of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work Building (SSW) will be closed due to multiple construction projects within the area. With this closure eliminating all F36 parking, Parking and Transportation Services will be moving these spaces to the west side of SSW along San Jacinto Blvd just south of the 20th St intersection. Some portions of F36 will return to the east side of SSW at the completion of these projects in the fall of 2022.

Campus Traffic Updates for 4/20/20-7/15/20

Robert Dedman (Between Clyde Littlefield & Deloss Dodds)

Beginning Tuesday, April 21, Robert Dedman Dr. will be reduced to one northbound lane between Clyde Littlefield Dr. and Deloss Dodds Way.

Also, the west sidewalk (stadium side) will be narrowed in that area.

Signage for drivers and pedestrians will be posted.

These changes will be in place for approximately 3 months (thru early June 2020) and are due to installation of a utility duct bank in support of the Red River Realignment Project.

Bike Rack Relocation - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Bldg

April 15, 2020

Due to the construction project happening at the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering (CPE) building, eight bike racks located on the south side of the CPE building are scheduled to be removed on Monday, April 20, 2020, at 9:00 AM. Each rack will have a sign attached to indicate removal.

All bikes must be removed from these racks. Bicycles left on these racks will be considered abandoned on Monday, April 20 at 9:00 AM.

PTS Offices Closed Through 3/29/20

March 16, 2020

Based on the closure of UT Austin, the PTS Main Office as well as all PTS garage offices will be closed through March 29, 2020. Please check back for future office hours, as conditions are rapidly changing.
