Reminder: Campus Traffic and Parking Disruptions (May 7–9)

This is a reminder that Commencement ceremonies will take place Thursday, May 7 through Saturday, May 9, with events occurring across campus and the university-wide ceremony on Saturday evening at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium.
If you plan to be on or near campus, please prepare for significant traffic congestion, street closures, and delays throughout the three-day period.
Campus Traffic and Parking Disruptions (May 7-9)

The University will host its 143rd Commencement ceremonies from Thursday, May 7, through Saturday, May 9. Graduates from 17 degree-granting colleges and schools will participate in events across campus, culminating in the university-wide Commencement ceremony on the evening of Saturday, May 9, at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium. Please review the information below and plan ahead, as major congestion and delays are expected for all individuals traveling to, from, or through campus during Commencement.
Parking and Traffic Updates on Inner Campus Dr. (April 24)

On Friday, April 24, the University will observe UT Remembers, a cherished tradition honoring students, faculty, staff, and retirees from The University of Texas at Austin community who have passed away in the past year. As the campus gathers in reflection, there will be temporary impacts to parking and traffic near the Main Building (MAI) and Tower, including along Inner Campus Drive (ICD).

Home Football Game Parking Disruptions for Nov. 26–28; towing to be enforced

Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium is set for a rare Friday game under the lights as Texas welcomes Texas A&M on November 28. As this is a Friday game, all affected parking areas will be cleared earlier than usual. Towing will begin as early as Wednesday evening in certain locations, with the remaining areas clearing on Thursday night. Please review the details below carefully to avoid citations and towing.
