Spring Updates for Parking and Transportation

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) would like to welcome everyone to campus, returning and new. Below are some spring semester parking and transportation information and tips:

Parking and Traffic Disruptions for the 3M Half Marathon Jan. 22-23

The 3M Half Marathon will affect parking and traffic this weekend (Jan. 22 – 23, 2022) on and around campus. Please carefully read the details below.

Parking Restrictions

Parking and Transportation Services will begin restricting parking in the areas listed below at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21. Restrictions will be in place until 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23.

Disabled Veteran License Plate Update

Jan. 1, 2022

The State of Texas has passed a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2022. Disabled veteran license plates by themselves are no longer sufficient to park in spaces that require ADA credentials. Parking in spaces designed for persons with disabilities, including ADA, D, D+/Special Accommodation, now requires the International Symbol of Access (ISA) be on display at all times.  

Home Football Game Day Parking Disruptions for November 26, 2021; towing to be enforced
