Inner Campus Drive traffic & parking disruptions August 24

Aug. 18, 2022

Inner Campus Drive will be closed from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 for Gone to Texas. All vehicles must be removed from this location by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. There will be restricted access into the Main Mall area from the intersection of 24th Street and Whitis Avenue beginning at 5 p.m. 

Mooov-In Parking Disruptions Aug. 15-22

Aug. 12, 2022

Please expect extra congestion and traffic delays on and around campus beginning Monday, August 15 through the first class day, Monday August 22.

Mooov-In Week, August 15-22, will bring parking and traffic disruptions near university residence halls. Beginning on Friday, August 19, and continuing through Sunday August 21, traffic will be the heaviest as resident students check-in at UFCU Disch-Falk Field (DFF) then move to the assigned residence hall to unload and move in. Most of the impact will be around the following parking areas:

Faculty/Staff fall parking permit renewals, purchases, and deadlines

UT Austin Staff and Faculty,

With active 2021-2022 parking permits expiring August 16, 2022, permit renewals and open sales for the fall will begin soon. Parking options to help serve faculty and staff with permit renewals, new permit purchases, and occasional parking are listed below.

With summer parking permits expiring August 16, 2022, permit renewals, lotteries, and open sales for the fall will begin soon. Parking options to help serve students who will need a permit as well as those who will only be bringing their vehicle to campus occasionally are listed below.

2022-23 Student Permit Prices

Parking and Transportation Services is a self-funded department that receives no funds for parking from the university or the state. Fees are collected for all those who park on campus to help cover the costs associated with providing parking. Permit prices are set by the Parking and Traffic Policy Committee.

2022 Bicycle Dorm Cleanup

May 16, 2022

Campus Community:

Don't forget to take your bike home at the end of the semester!

  • Bicycles left at signed racks near Kinsolving Residence Hall (KIN) will be considered abandoned on Tuesday, May 17 at 9 a.m.
  • Bicycles left at other signed dormitory racks will be considered abandoned on Sunday, May 22 at 9 a.m.

Any remaining bicycles are subject to impoundment by Parking and Transportation Services at the owner's expense.
