Traffic Delays and Exiting Garages
Officers from UTPD and the Austin Police Department will be actively managing traffic around campus. Due to the high volume of vehicles, road closures, and large number of pedestrians, significant delays are expected, particularly near ceremony venues. Vehicles may experience extended wait times when exiting garages.
We ask for your patience and understanding during these times as we work to ensure a safe environment for all members of our community and our guests.
Please allow extra time if you need to be on campus, and avoid driving through campus during peak periods if possible.
Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility as we celebrate the achievements of our graduating students.
