Home Football Game Parking Disruptions for October 19; towing to be enforced

In the most highly anticipated home football game of the season, two top-ranked teams will go head-to-head in primetime as the Texas Longhorns face off against the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday, October 19. The last matchup between these teams was in the 2019 Sugar Bowl, where Texas emerged victorious. Expect a packed house for this exciting showdown! To ensure you are fully prepared for the game, please review the traffic and parking restrictions listed below.

Before and After Game Day Parking

Parking Restrictions and Towing

All vehicles must be removed from the locations listed below no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 18. Any vehicles that have not relocated by this time will be subject to relocation at the vehicle operator’s expense.

Lots

  • Lots 15, 18, 19, 20, 23, 26, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 53, 92, 102, 108, 116, and 118

Streets

  • San Jacinto Blvd. between Dean Keeton St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
  • Robert Dedman Dr. between Dean Keeton St. and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
  • Trinity St. between DeLoss Dodds Way and Robert Dedman Dr.
  • 21st St. between San Jacinto Blvd. and Speedway

Garages

  • Brazos Garage (BRG)

Parking Storage Areas for Relocated Permit Holders

Permit holders may relocate their vehicles to any of the following lots: Lot 106, 110, 111, 112, or 115. Overnight parking restrictions for these lots will be lifted starting on Friday, October 18 and ending at 3 a.m. on Monday, October 21. Relocated F and S garage permit holders may park in San Antonio Garage, Guadalupe Garage, or 27th Street Garage on a space-available basis.

Information on where relocated garage R permit holders may move their vehicles will be sent in a separate email.

Game Day Parking and Campus Access

Campus Entry Restrictions

Campus entry is restricted on game day, October 19, beginning at 5 a.m. Limited entry for permit holders will be available for those who work on campus or who have otherwise coordinated with Parking and Transportation Services prior to the game.

Parking on Game Day

If you need parking on game day, Texas Facilities Commission offers public parking in State Garages for a fee.
