Home Football Game Parking Disruptions for Sep. 4-5; towing to be enforced

Longhorn Nation is gearing up for the start of another exciting Texas Football season on the Forty Acres. Longhorn City Limits presented by Hollister returns to the LBJ Lawn on Saturday, September 5, ahead of the Longhorns’ season opener against Texas State.

With a full day of activities and the football game bringing visitors to campus, parking restrictions and campus entry limitations will be in effect to ensure events run smoothly and safely. Please review the details below carefully to avoid citations and towing.

Parking Restrictions and Towing

All vehicles must be removed from the listed locations by the times below, or they will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

Lots

All vehicles must be removed from the following lots by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 4:

  • Lots 15, 18, 19, 20, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 53, 56, 80, 92, 102, 108, 116, and 118

Streets

All vehicles must be removed from the following streets on Friday, September 4:

  • By 7:59 p.m.:

    - San Jacinto Boulevard (DeLoss Dodds Way to 20th Street)

  • By 11:59 p.m.:

    - 21st Street (Speedway to San Jacinto Boulevard)
    - 24th Street (Speedway to San Jacinto Boulevard)
    - Robert Dedman Drive (Dean Keeton Street to DeLoss Dodds Way)
    - San Jacinto Boulevard (Dean Keeton Street to DeLoss Dodds Way)
    - San Jacinto Boulevard (20th Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard)
    - Speedway (Dean Keeton Street to 24th Street)
    - Trinity Street (Robert Dedman Drive to DeLoss Dodds Way)

Garages

All vehicles must be removed from the following garages by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 4:

  • Brazos Garage (BRG)
  • Manor Garage (MAG)
  • San Jacinto Garage (SJG)
  • Trinity Garage (TRG)
  • East Campus Garage (ECG) - ECG R permit holders will NOT need to relocate

Service Drives

All vehicles must be removed from the following service drives by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 4:

  • Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center (MNC)
  • Recreational Sports Center (RSC)

Parking Storage Areas for Relocated Permit Holders

Permit holders may relocate their vehicles to any of the following lots: Lot 106, 110 (non-UT CDC spaces), 111, 112, 115, 119, or 121. Overnight parking restrictions for these lots will be lifted starting on Friday, September 4 and ending at 3 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8.

Relocated F and S garage permit holders may park in Guadalupe Garage, San Antonio Garage, Speedway Garage, or 27th Street Garage on a space-available basis.

Information on where relocated garage R permit holders may move their vehicles will be sent in a separate email.

Campus Entry Restrictions

Campus entry is restricted on game day, September 5, beginning at 6 a.m. Limited entry for permit holders will be available for those who work on campus or who have otherwise coordinated with Parking and Transportation Services prior to the game. Please note: These restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of safety and traffic control.
