Home Football Game Parking Disruptions for September 20; towing to be enforced

Game day returns to the Forty Acres as the Longhorns host the Sam Houston Bearkats on Saturday, September 20. This final non-conference matchup gives Texas a chance to sharpen its edge before a bye week and the start of SEC competition. Fans can look forward to another electric atmosphere at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium as the Horns aim to carry their momentum forward.

With the excitement on campus, parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect to support a safe and smooth game day. Please review the details below carefully to avoid citations and towing.

Parking Restrictions and Towing

All vehicles must be removed from the locations listed below no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday, September 19. Any vehicles that have not relocated by this time will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

Lots

  • Lots 15, 18, 19, 20, 26, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 53, 80, 92, 102, 108, 116, and 118

Streets

  • Robert Dedman Dr. (Dean Keeton St. to DeLoss Dodds Way)
  • San Jacinto Blvd. (Dean Keeton St. to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.)
  • Trinity St. (DeLoss Dodds Way to Robert Dedman Dr.)
  • 21st St. (San Jacinto Blvd. to Speedway)

Garages

  • Brazos Garage (BRG)
  • Manor Garage (MAG)
  • San Jacinto Garage (SJG)
  • Trinity Garage (TRG)
  • East Campus Garage (ECG) - ECG permit holders will NOT need to relocate

Service Drives

  • Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center (MNC)
  • Recreational Sports Center (RSC)

Parking Storage Areas for Relocated Permit Holders

Permit holders may relocate their vehicles to any of the following lots: Lot 106, 110 (non-UT CDC spaces), 111, 112, 115, 119, or 121. Overnight parking restrictions for these lots will be lifted starting on Friday, September 19 and ending at 3 a.m. on Monday, September 22. Relocated F and S garage permit holders may park in Guadalupe Garage, San Antonio Garage, Speedway Garage, or 27th Street Garage on a space-available basis.

Information on where relocated garage R permit holders may move their vehicles will be sent in a separate email.

Campus Entry Restrictions

Campus entry is restricted on game day, September 20, beginning at 6 a.m. Limited entry for permit holders will be available for those who work on campus or who have otherwise coordinated with Parking and Transportation Services prior to the game.
