On Friday, April 25, the University will observe UT Remembers, a cherished tradition that honors students, faculty, staff, and retirees from The University of Texas at Austin community who have passed away in the past year. As the campus gathers in reflection, there will be temporary impacts to parking and traffic near the Main Building (MAI) and Tower, including along Inner Campus Drive (ICD).
Parking Restrictions
Parking along ICD and 22nd Street will be inaccessible from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Street Closures and Detours
The following streets will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon):
- ICD from just east of the Lot 14 entrance to Guadalupe Street
- 22nd Street between ICD and Guadalupe Street
To avoid disrupting the ceremony, all exiting traffic on ICD and 22nd Street east and south of the Main Building will be redirected during this time.
