Overnight Parking

C Permits

There is no overnight parking in C Lots and Longhorn Lots from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. 

Suggestions for C Permit Holders needing to park overnight:

  • Upgrade to a C+ permit to park in garages
  • Spaces in other lots throughout campus that open up to "Any UT Permit" from 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
  • Pull a ticket and park in a garage at the hourly rate

C+ Permits

C+ Permit holders may park in any garage, except the Conference Center (CCG) and Rowling Hall (RHG) Garages, on a space-available basis weeknights 5 p.m.-4 a.m.

N Permits

  • Spaces opening up to "Any UT Permit" 5:45 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
  • C and Longhorn Lots 5:45 p.m.-3 a.m. and 5 a.m.-7:30 a.m.

N+ Permits

  • any garage except the Conference Center Garage (CCG) on a space-available basis weeknights 5 p.m.-4a.m.
  • Spaces opening up to "Any UT Permit" 5:45 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
  • C and Longhorn Lots 5:45 p.m.-3 a.m. and 5 a.m.-7:30 a.m.

R Permits

R Permit holders have access to their assigned garage 24/7 with the exception of event relocations.

S Permits

The S permit is not intended for 24-hour storage of your vehicle. If you are regularly parking your car overnight, please purchase the S Permit storage fee through My Parking Profile.

Should you need to keep your vehicle in the garage longer than 72 hours, please contact garages@utexas.edu for overnight authorization.
