Permit Details 

Eligibilityavailable only by written request to PTS from Facility Services, University Dining and Housing, or from a department director, chair, vice president, or associate vice president, and will be issued upon final approval by the director of PTS
Contract TermAnnual (expires mid-August); can be bought throughout the year for a prorated fee
Where to Purchase

Once approved for eligibility by PTS, new purchases can be made online through My Parking Profile or at any staffed garage office

Note: A physical permit will not be issued. Your license plate is the display credential. Please ensure it is kept up to date and associated with your permit

Where to Park

Parking Locations
  • "A" Lots/Spaces: weekdays 2:30 p.m.-7:30 a.m. and all weekend from Friday at 2:30 p.m. to Monday at 7:30 a.m.
  • "F" 14, 18-36, 39-56, and 75-96 spaces including those designated "AT ALL TIMES": weekdays 5:45 p.m.-7:30 a.m. and all weekend from Friday at 5:45 p.m. to Monday at 7:30 a.m.
  • "F" 11, 15, and 16 that do NOT say "AT ALL TIMES": weekdays 4 p.m.-7:30 a.m. and all weekend from Friday at 4 p.m. to Monday at 7:30 a.m.
  • Select "O" spaces designated by signage around the Main Building: read signs for times
  • Longhorn Lots: weekdays 2:30 p.m.-7:30 a.m. and all weekend from Friday at 2:30 p.m. to Monday at 7:30 a.m.
Additional Evening/ Weekend Options
  • Weeknights - 5:45 p.m.-7:30 a.m.
  • Weekends - from Friday at 5:45 p.m. to Monday at 7:30 a.m.: any unrestricted spaces that do not require a specific permit at all times or spaces opening up to A permits at these times
