PRC Day Pass
Flexible, easy parking—when you need it.
We're excited to introduce the PRC Day Pass, a convenient new option for UT faculty and staff to purchase daily parking at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus (PRC) for just $5 per day—entirely online through My Parking Profile.
Whether you're on campus once a week or just dropping by occasionally, this pass makes parking simple, flexible, and completely digital—no paper permit required.
How to Purchase
- Visit My Parking Profile.
- Log in with your UT EID.
- Under Applications, click Parking Portal.
- Under PERMITS, click Get Day Pass.
Day Pass Details
- Valid Area: Lots and spaces available to “Any UT Permit” at the J.J. Pickle Research Campus (PRC) and West Pickle Research Building (WPR)
- Cost: $5 per day
- Enforcement Method: License Plate Recognition (no paper permit required)
- Pass Validity: Only on the date selected at purchase
License Plate is Your Permit
The Day Pass is virtual. You do not need to print or display anything in your vehicle. Your license plate is your parking credential.
To avoid citations, it’s essential that your vehicle information is up to date.
How to Manage Your Vehicle Information
To update or switch the vehicle on your Day Pass:
Step 1: Update your account vehicles
- Visit My Parking Profile.
- Log in with your UT EID.
- Under Applications, click Parking Portal.
- In the top menu bar, click VEHICLES.
- Add or remove vehicles as needed.
Step 2: Update the vehicles on your Day Pass
- In the top menu bar, click PERMITS → View Your Permits.
- Click on your Day Pass permit number.
- Scroll to Associated Vehicles to add or remove vehicles.
You may associate up to 3 vehicles with your Day Pass. If you've reached the limit, you'll need to remove one to add another.
Rental or Loaner Vehicles
If you’re using a rental or temporary vehicle:
- Add the plate to your Day Pass before parking.
- Remove it once the vehicle is returned.
